SuperBot ("we", "the bot") is a Discord bot that provides moderation, utility, economy, levels, Activity Arcade and optional SuperBot Pro AI chat. This policy describes what data we collect and how we use it.
Data collected
- User ID and server ID — to store economy, levels, warnings and Activity scores
- Username — for leaderboards and display in Activity games
- Game statistics — Tic-Tac-Toe, Connect 4, Battleship, Snake Rush, Zombie Survival scores
- Server settings — welcome, support, ideas, level-up channels, tickets, auto-role, language
- Warnings — reason, date, moderator ID
- Pro subscription — server ID, expiry date, PayPal/Stripe payment IDs (if subscribed)
SuperBot Pro AI chat
When a member uses /hey-superbot, the question is sent to our AI provider to generate a reply. We do not store conversation history long-term. Questions are processed only to answer the request.
Payments
SuperBot Pro is currently paid via PayPal. We do not store PayPal passwords or card numbers on our servers. Stripe (card payments) will be added later.
Pro activity log
If a server admin enables the Pro activity log, SuperBot may log member activity to a channel chosen by the admin. Message content may be included.
Web dashboard
The dashboard uses Discord OAuth2 to verify that you can manage a server. We store a short-lived session cookie during login.
Data NOT collected
- We do not read message content for XP (only activity triggers XP, not message text)
- We do not sell data to third parties
- We do not collect emails through the bot (PayPal may show your email during checkout)
Discord Activities
Activities use Discord OAuth2 to authenticate users (scope identify). The token is exchanged server-side and is not stored permanently.
Retention
Data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) while the bot is active in your server. Removing SuperBot allows data deletion on request via the support server.
Contact
For privacy requests or data deletion, open a ticket in the SuperBot support server.
